I visited Pramod sir for my wisdom tooth extraction. I am a doctor myself and trust me I am a terrible patient. I have run out of dentist's clinic twice, missed 2 appointments because I am very scared of dentists. I was literally shivering and was planning on running away even before meeting him. But Pramod sir made it seem so simple and remained so calm with me. I was in tears even before the procedure started but before I could understand anything, the procedure was already done! I was told by everyone I saw earlier that my tooth was impacted in the sinuses and that I have a difficult extraction but thanks to him, he made me at ease and so comfortable. I started crying during the procedure not because of pain but because of extreme fear but immediately afterwards it was like nothing even happened

Overall a good doctor, we have been visiting him since more than 8 years. But this specific visit was unusual and disappointing, and hence this elaborate feedback. Doc hadn’t explained to us the potential loss of original tooth, at the time of consultation. Then, during the treatment, he broke one, of course unintentionally (but I am sure I can say carelessly, as he was kind of harsh this time during the treatment). The tooth flew in the air, while being pulled out!! Clearly the Doc was not in his best today. At the end of this first sitting, of this treatment, he started the conversation stating that he had told us about the potential loss of the original tooth beforehand (honestly, he had not). And then he added a less heartfelt sorry. It sounded odd, it indeed was a very very defensive way of communicating. I guess this time’s experience could have been different, had the Doc been a bit more careful. Once again, the doc is a nice person. And we have high respect for him. We very much wish that he will be more careful with senior citizens a bit more during the treatments, and explain the things in details beforehand rather than being defensive later.
